Jakub Kraus

Jakub Kraus is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Air Transport at the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, Czech Technical University in Prague, where he has long been involved in research and teaching in the field of air transport operations. His expertise focuses primarily on unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and their advanced operations, including their integration into airspace through the development of the U-space concept, as well as strategic analyses of the use of the third dimension for urban transport (Urban Air Mobility). He has been involved in several national and international projects addressing the safe operation of drones, digital identification, detection of GNSS interference, and the implementation of advanced navigation and communication technologies. He serves as the Chairman of the Strategic Forum on Drones in the Czech Republic and actively contributes to the development of national strategies for unmanned aviation.
